The original lawsuit filed in 2008 against Ingrain (now SafeNet) included: U.S. Patent 6,321,201, entitled “Data Security System for a Database Having Multiple Encryption Levels Applicable on a Data Element Value Level,” U.S. Patent 7,325,129, entitled “Method for Altering Encryption Status in a Relational Database in a Continuous Process,” and U.S. Patent 6,963,980, entitled “Combined Hardware and Software Based Encryption of Databases.” An additional lawsuit was filed against SafeNet for U.S. Patent 8,402,281, entitled “Data Security System for a Database.”
