DETROIT, MI — (Marketwired) — 08/09/13 — , a global leader in digital engagement, announced today that Oracle sales leader Eric Larson has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. The addition of Eric to the ePrize team reflects the rapidly growing importance of scalable marketing technology platforms.
By 2017, the CMO will be spending more than the CIO, according to Gartner. With five acquisitions since 2011, ePrize provides robust marketing technology for mobile, social, web, email and live events. ePrize-s holistic solutions focus on creating rich consumer engagements that marry social programs with in-store experiences through a consumer-s mobile device. Each solution — whether a promotion, loyalty program, or CRM campaign — can be carried out across digital channels all the way through to point of sale.
“End-to-end solutions are key: marketers can run a consumer engagement contest on Facebook, extend that contest onto a jumbotron to engage fans via mobile, then create ongoing offers across these channels. Redemption can be tracked at point of sale — and all of it is managed in one software platform,” said Matt Wise, CEO of ePrize. “As ePrize continues to expand our footprint in multichannel engagement, Eric-s proven expertise selling enterprise software will help clients shape these opportunities into a holistic marketing strategy.”
Larson joins ePrize from Oracle, where he most recently served as Vice President, Customer Experience Solutions and was a key leader in Oracle-s cloud computing strategy. His team helped B2B and B2C customers increase customer loyalty, drive sales, create successful multi-channel marketing initiatives, and optimize the customer experience across channels. Under his leadership, the Oracle CX business in the east more than doubled in the last three years.
Prior to joining Oracle in 1996, Larson held positions in the technology and communications industries at AT&T, NCR, and Digital Equipment. His wide range of expertise spans cloud computing, CRM, e-Commerce, social media, and ERP. He holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
“Today there is a true intersection in the marketplace of marketing strategy and technology, and the ePrize team fundamentally understands and delivers both,” says Eric Larson, CRO. “Through internal R&D and multiple recent acquisitions, ePrize has built a platform that allows for truly robust engagement. I-m looking forward to contributing to this innovative team and driving great success for our clients.”
Larson will be based in ePrize-s Chicago office.
