RESTON, VA — (Marketwired) — 08/06/13 — provider ScienceLogic Inc. reported a 50 percent year-over-year sales increase during the second quarter of 2013. This adds to the more than 64 percent quarter-over-quarter sequential growth ScienceLogic has achieved so far this year.
The success is attributed to an upsurge in the number of new subscriptions — in just the first half of 2013, ScienceLogic has added more new subscription customers than they did throughout all of last year. The shift from perpetual licenses to subscription licenses is evidence of the unique value of simplification that the ScienceLogic monitoring platform provides to customers that are rapidly facing the chaos resulting from their next generation private and public cloud initiatives. The current trends in the IT and cloud industry are setting the company up to shatter its record of new customers gained in one year.
The rise in sales is also due to international growth in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, where the service provider market is rapidly growing. International sales have grown from two percent of total sales two years ago to over 30 percent so far in 2013. In Q2, ScienceLogic expanded into yet another new country with a sale to base 2, the first customer located in New Zealand.
Some of the key customers that added to second quarter success include Unitas Global, Tier 3, Telefonica Peru, Envisian, Broadreach Services, Peak 10, Woah Networks Inc., NOAA, Telus, and West Monroe Partners, LLC.
Adding to ScienceLogic-s success this year is also the number of key technology partnerships and integrations established. Not only do these integrations add flexibility to prospective customers, each one also increases the value provided to existing customers by allowing them to easily extend their investment by further eliminating swivel-chair monitoring. In the first half of 2013, ScienceLogic has added integrations with Dell iDRAC, SolidFire, PagerDuty, New Relic, F5, and Puppet Labs.
“We have become the leading monitoring software within the industry, something that we have worked relentlessly to achieve,” said Dave Link, Co-founder and CEO of ScienceLogic. “We care about the quality of our product and the satisfaction of our customers. The numbers are a clear reflection of the determination we have devoted to create the most advanced and next generation IT monitoring software. I am thrilled to see that ScienceLogic is being rewarded with such outstanding growth.”
Backing the successes of the ScienceLogic sales team are a number of prestigious technology awards — the company has been awarded the InfoWorld 2013 Technology of the Year and Best of Interop 2013 for Management and Monitoring.
