The Shanghai office will provide sales, marketing, technical field support, and local engineering services to customers and partners within mainland China, along with expanded Asia Pacific support through the company-s existing regional headquarters in Hong Kong.
According to recent reports by Vodafone and the United Nations Public Information Network, Asia Pacific is poised to overtake the Americas to secure the top spot in M2M (machine-to-machine) adoption by 2015. Sixty-two percent of companies in Asia Pacific are expected to adopt M2M over the next two years, outpacing 35 percent in the Americas.
