These new mid-range application delivery controllers (ADCs) provide high-end performance at mid-range price points that most businesses can easily afford.

These new LX ADCs replace Coyote Point-s GX platform with improvements to memory, CPU performance, storage and network throughput. They have been built to take advantage of Coyote Point-s award-winning EQ/OS 10 operating system to deliver class-leading performance, features and value.
The Equalizer E470LX and E670LX are targeted at mid-sized businesses and enterprises that require secure environments for e-commerce and financial applications and can easily handle the intense demands of HTTPS transaction processing.
The E470LX provides 8.0 Gbps of layer 4 throughput, handles up to 179,000 layer 7 requests per second and 29,000 HTTPS transactions per second. Its performance numbers place the E470LX with the top-of-line units of other mid-range competitors at a significantly lower price point.
The E670LX includes two 10 gigabit SFP+ Ethernet ports for increased networking bandwidth and ups the performance to 12.0 Gbps of layer 4 throughput, handles up to 336,000 layer 7 requests per second and 42,000 HTTPS transactions per second. Additionally, the E670LX provides up to 2.5 Gbps throughput of compression, which significantly reduces bandwidth requirements for content-rich applications that rely heavily on services such as CSS and JavaScript.
The Equalizer E970LX features two 10 gigabit SFP+ Ethernet ports, dual hot-swappable power supplies, cooling assemblies and “lights-out” management for remote access of the unit. With 15.0 Gbps of layer 4 throughput, 420,000 layer 7 requests per second and 56,000 HTTPS transactions per second, the E970LX is the first Coyote Point ADC to be purpose built for high-performance data center and enterprise environments.
