Moxa, one of the world-s leading manufacturers of communication solutions, will be presenting its extensive portfolio of embedded computers and industrial Ethernet products at this year-s Embedded World. The exhibition will be held at the Exhibition Center in Nuremberg, Germany, from March 1 to 3, 2011, with Moxa exhibiting in Hall 9, No. 429.
This year-s highlights include the V2400 series embedded computers. Due to the V2400-s modular architecture, they are perfect for railway and bus applications and are also highly suitable for a variety of other applications including: video monitoring, remote monitoring, passenger information systems, infotainment solutions, and passenger WLANs. These computers can be expanded quickly and easily via special EPM modules, and a variety of different interface modules are available to suit different needs. The “wireless gateway” module connects the computers to a WAN (WLAN, 3G, or GPS), the CANbus module permits the vehicle bus or other isolated on-board components to be connected, and the universal PCI module facilitates across the board integration.
Another focal point is Moxa-s video solutions, which include the VPort series and the proprietary DynaStream? technology. DynaStream? prevents network congestion and gives users additional flexibility when integrating IP video surveillance with industrial monitoring and control systems. For a video solution that is ideal for harsh environments, use the VPort series together with the V2416 or MC-4510 embedded computers. Other communication solutions include embedded device servers (MiiNePort series), WLAN (AWK series), and Power-over-Ethernet solutions.
Moxa-s rugged industrial products are well-suited for a wide range of applications, such as transportation, factory automation, traditional electricity generators and distributors, and renewable energies. Moxa not only provides rugged industrial embedded computers, but also offers complete industrial solutions with emphasis on wireless technology.
Lars Jaeger, Business Development Manager for Industrial Wireless, will talk about “Industrial Wireless for the Transportation Industry” at the exhibition conference on 2nd of March at 11 am.
