9 Communications Centers at Harris County, TX Go-Live on Significant Upgrade to Tiburon CAD/RMS/Mobile

SAN RAMON, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/15/13 — Tiburon, Inc., the leading public safety and security provider of integrated public safety software solutions for secure cloud or on-premises deployments, today announced the successful go-live and completion of a major law enforcement system upgrade project at Harris County, Texas.

The law enforcement upgrade project was grant funded with a compressed timeline and involved Tiburon-s Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Law RMS, Mobile, and Field Reporting systems as well as implementing a new iyeTek Crash software application with integration to Tiburon-s Law RMS. The CAD go-live started, as scheduled, on June 18th with Harris County Sheriff-s Office and Constable Precincts 1-8 (a total of 9 separate communications centers) being brought online in a staggered fashion which coincided with the County-s approx 3,000 vehicles installed with Tiburon Mobile data communications being transitioned the following days. The Tiburon Law RMS system upgrade began on Monday, June 17th and finished on schedule the next day and was brought online in the same staggered fashion. At end of business, June 18th, Harris County Law Enforcement announced agency-wide that the Tiburon CAD, Mobile and Law RMS upgrade went live and was a success with Tiburon continuing to provide both remote and onsite support after the cutover.

The project included upgrades to LawRECORDS/ARS 7.4.1 with updates from 7.4.2 to 7.9; From CADTi 2.2 to CommandCAD 2.8; From MDS 2.2 to MobileCOM 5.3. CAD Interfaces include Amber alert/Weather alert, EZ Tag, E911, Wireless Phase II, PTT, TLETS, Purvis Gray and AVL. RMS Interfaces include FileOnQ EvidenceOnQ, DIMS/JOTS, Record import state parsing, Citation import, AFIS Printrak, Mugshot Printrak, CopLogic and the new iyeTek Crash system.
