The renowned GUNOLD GmbH from Stockstadt (D) will present quite a few novelties and embroidery ideas at the fall edition of this year”s ModAmont (17 – 19 September 2013) at Parc d-Expositions, Paris Nord Villepinte. “We are going to present our new Design Sample Books as well as totally new pattern books”, Stephan Gunold, Head of Marketing, announces.
The idea is to demonstrate creative tradeshow visitors how a preliminary design draft can be turned into a fashionable surface design: the steps that are needed, the many possibilities that are available, the many different methods in terms of realization that exist and last but not least, how the choice of different embroidery supplies will affect the look of your embroidery. “We intend to inspire fashion designers once again for embroidery while demonstrating how exciting embroidery can be. And the best possible way to do this is by presenting the many different creative design options all with the help of our embroidery materials”, Stephan Gunold explains. Fabric embellishment is a key factor in fashion. That is why for the Paris show, we will bring along many different ideas for creative surface design techniques. That includes fabric printing, decorative seams, laser engraving etc. “All of our ideas can be realized in a very doable way – a distinguishing criteria that GUNOLD is very well known for and proud of”.
Product-Highlights
Just to mention a few product highlights: additional new colours of FILAINE 12, the embroidery thread for rustic embroideries with that typical needlework look; Stickprotect, the fusible protective gauze even for thin, soft to the touch fabrics to prevent irritations of the skin, is now available in black and every embroidery backing from GUNOLD is now also available on smaller rolls.
And brand new- the handy TOOL KIT which comes with narrow blade scissors, a snipper, a seam ripper, a screwdriver and tweezers. The black case fits in every purse and particularly comes in handy while on the go. That is also true for the OIL PEN, a pocket needle point lubricator pen that is great for that hard-to reach place or that tiny machine part that needs to be oiled. And not to forget- every page of the design sample books can be emailed as a PDF document on special request. That way, the creative people among tradeshow visitors will be able to have a look at each page in peace and quiet. This makes it easy and convenient to decide where and how they may want to use those amazing different techniques and materials in future fashion collections.
