CHICAGO, IL — (Marketwired) — 07/08/13 — SpringCM®, the leader in Content Cloud Services, today announced that Karry Kleeman has joined SpringCM, as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales, reporting to CEO Christopher Junker. Karry, who has extensive experience building and rapidly growing cloud services and content-focused companies, will lead SpringCM-s direct global sales team.
The shift to Content Cloud Services is occurring rapidly as enterprises move away from old school enterprise apps and legacy content management systems such as SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum and FileNet. As a result, SpringCM is accelerating its enterprise sales efforts to help organizations maximize their investments in newer cloud and mobile technologies by tackling the content challenges associated with key business processes including contracts, employee onboarding, product support, compliance and more. Karry will be responsible for growing the SpringCM sales organization as the demand for SpringCM-s Content Cloud Services increases.
“We-ve had an outstanding start to 2013, with a record number of new customers and significant expansion of SpringCM by existing customers,” said Christopher Junker, CEO of SpringCM. “Building on this momentum, Karry will help us expand into new vertical and geographical markets and ensure SpringCM becomes the dominant app for content, just as salesforce.com has become the dominant app for Sales, Service and Marketing.”
Karry has deep domain experience in the content services market, spending 17 years at Mobius Management Systems, most recently as senior vice president of EMEA Operations. At Mobius Karry led the company-s highly successful “land and expand” efforts, by selling into departments and quickly extending relationships into enterprise-wide deals. After Mobius, Karry led worldwide sales for Open Kernel Labs, a leader in cloud-managed virtualization software. At Open Kernel Labs, Karry spearheaded changes that resulted in immediate global sales growth by entering new vertical markets and establishing subsidiaries, partnerships and offices across the globe.
“SpringCM-s Content Cloud Services blow away the basic file management and content sharing offerings on the market; SpringCM has much broader, deeper functionality, and it-s incredibly easy to implement and use,” said Karry Kleeman. “SpringCM extends traditional Enterprise Content Management to mobile devices and offers content consumers a very real ROI scenario. I-ve spent most of my career in the content market, and I have seen who wins markets and why. SpringCM knows the cloud inside and out and has what it takes to own Cloud Content Services.”
SpringCM Content Cloud Services transform the way people find, share, collaborate and work with content. SpringCM combines the ease of use of consumer-focused offerings with robust enterprise-class capabilities designed to put content to work. Unlike consumer Content Cloud Service offerings such as Dropbox and Box, SpringCM was architected for the enterprise from day one with rich security, mobile, sync and business process capabilities. While old school Enterprise Content Management systems such as SharePoint, Documentum and FileNet are expensive to maintain and challenging to use, SpringCM was designed to deliver the functionality of those systems — and more — without frustrating employees, customers and partners.
SpringCM is the leader in Content Cloud Services for the enterprise. Enterprises need to do more than store and share content — they need to put content to work to accelerate business outcomes. SpringCM helps global brands and public sector agencies — Google, Facebook and the Commonwealth of Virginia, among others — solve content-related problems that stand in the way of optimizing revenues, cutting costs, mitigating risk and engaging customers and employees.
