Germany’s leading provider for IPTV, end-to-end video-networking and streaming systems – Teracue AG – announced today support of RTMP Flash ® streaming format for it’s broadcast quality ENC-300 encoder series.
The ENC-300 realtime, fanless, pure hardware encoder platform which is known for its encoding quality, compact build, rugged design and extreme temperature operational range now additionally supports the RTMP streaming format.
“RTMP has been added to enable users to send a real broadcast quality stream, for transcoding or hosting, as a single source stream directly into CDNs, datacenters or into the cloud,”, explains Karl-Heinz Wenisch CTO of Teracue.
The ENC-300 encoder model is available with DVI/HDMI or VGA/HD-SDI/Analog inputs, and can handle input resolutions of up to 1920×1200. “It is ideal for live events, sports broadcasting, mobile encoding and video contribution”, adds Wenisch. The ENC-300 series can be operated in environments from -35°C up to + 60°C. The encoder is up and running after 25 seconds, consumes 9 Watt and can even be battery powered.
