IRVINE, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/02/13 — Project Insight () today announced version 10.2 of its mid-market online project management software which provides seasoned project managers with advanced, powerful features while maintaining a very usable interface for team members of all levels. The software upgrade highlights commonly used sections of the project software, including time entry and reporting.
According to Steve West, CTO of Project Insight, many project organizations require their team members to enter time; however, the way time is entered and the type of information needed vary by organization. He explained that to streamline this issue, Project Insight-s now brings more display options for the team member to choose from on the time entry grid. New additions include:
Choose to hide or show non-working times like weekends or holidays
Group tasks by project, project type, resource type or client
Decide which columns to show and arrange in preferred order
Simplified timesheet submission process
Project Insight-s project and portfolio reports also received enhancements. While saved reports could always be shared with team members, now reports may be shared with groups and organizations. Customers frequently requested the ability to share reports with multiple people at once.

The development team took it a step further, giving project managers the capability to apply this feature to the customized dashboards as well.
