LAS VEGAS, NV — (Marketwired) — 06/25/13 — Clean Enviro Tech Corp. (OTCBB: CETC) (BERLIN: A1KB22) (ISIN:US18452C1080) (SYMBOL:S03A.be and S03A.sg) () () an emerging leader in the development and marketing of next generation lithium-ion powered batteries worldwide and a leading developer of residential, Solar Concentrating, Electric Power Generation Systems able to produce in excess of 2,000 WATTS (2 Kilowatts (kw)) of electric power, with zero emissions using sunlight as the only fuel, kicks off our marketing and distribution plan of our “Sky Power Dish” at the Solar Power International 13 at McCormick Place, booth 3550, in Chicago, Illinois October 21-24,2013.
With positive results in the latest testing of our patent pending heat sink, a $2 million funding agreement and the recent licensing agreement with India, CETC will launch the Marketing and Distributing Plan for both domestic and international markets at Solar Power International 13 (SPI).
ABOUT SPI: Solar Power International (SPI) is North America-s largest, most comprehensive solar power trade show and conference. This annual, business-to-business event was the first of its kind in North America and grows bigger and better every year. Nearly 20,000 professionals from 100+ countries attended. With one out of five attendees coming from outside the United States and over 1,100 companies from all vertical markets in the solar power spectrum exhibited in a space of more than 1 million gross square feet.
Solar Facts:
In 2012, Photovoltaic installations grew a head-turning 76 percent.
Experts predict continued solar PV growth of 29% over 2012.
The estimated market value for 2012 photovoltaic installations: $11.5 billion.
All market segments — residential, commercial, and utility — showed growth in 2012.
“Testing is completed and final engineering is underway for the Sky Power Dish. We-re ready to go to market and very excited to attend SPI in Chicago. We-re looking forward to the establishment of our dealer/distributor network and feel this event is the place to do just that,” said Rich Ralston, Director of Communications for Clean Enviro Tech Corp.
Using a Parabolic Dish, the Sky Power Dish concentrates the power of 500 SUNS onto a focal point creating electrical output generated from the magnified light directed onto High Efficiency Photovoltaic cells using less than 1/3 the surface space compared to standard solar panels.
As recently announced, Clean Enviro Tech has entered into a Licensing agreement for the manufacturing, marketing and sales of the Sky Power Dish in India. Being, one of the world-s most populated countries, India suffers from significant, wide scale electricity shortages with expectation of additional, worsening shortages. The Sky Power Dish is a perfect solution for on-grid, off-grid and remote applications for all users that have either NO access to electricity or the negative effects of unreliable and intermittent utility service.
In December 2011, over 300 million Indian citizens had no access to electricity. Over one third of India-s rural population lacked electricity, as did 6% of the urban population. Even for those with access to electricity in India, the supply was intermittent and unreliable. In 2010, blackouts and power shedding interrupted irrigation and manufacturing across the country.
The electricity sector in India had an installed capacity of 223.625 GW as of April 2013, the world-s fifth largest. Captive power plants generate an additional 34.444 GW. Non Renewable Power Plants constitute 87.55% of the installed capacity and 12.45% of Renewable Capacity. India generated 855 BU (855 000 MU i.e. 855 TWh) electricity during 2011-12 fiscal.
Demand for electricity in India far outstrips availability, both in terms of base load energy and peak availability. Base load requirement was 861,591 (MU) vs. availability of 788,355 MU, an 8.5% deficit. During peak loads, the demand was for 122 GW vs. availability of 110 GW, a 9.8% shortfall.
The unique design of the Sky Power Dish gives homeowners, for the first time, access to advanced concentrating Photovoltaic technology combined with sun tracking technology while taking only about 1/3 the space compared to standard solar Photovoltaic panels and at a much lower cost.
The entry-level price point for a Sky Power Dish is estimated to be $5,000US upon release. Many financial incentives are available which reduce the user-s actual costs and vary by location. Multiple Dishes can be combined for increased capacity.
Recently announced acquisition of $2,000,000(USD) in financing, combined with the development of a worldwide Dealer/Distributor network positions the company for rapid expansion in a rapidly expanding market, both in the US and around the world with swift movement into manufacturing, licensing, sales and distribution.
