The American Business Awards are the nation-s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations — public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Monday, June 17 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. More than 500 nominees and their guests attended. The presentations will be broadcast by the Business TalkRadio Network on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The 2013 American Business Awards will be presented at two awards events: Monday-s banquet in Chicago, and at the new products & tech awards event on Monday, September 16 in San Francisco.
AMAX-s Marketing Team was chosen as the GOLD Winner based on several innovative marketing campaigns including a Facebook campaign that increased “likes” by more than 1100%, Project Captive Audience at the 2012 RSA conference in which free chair massages were offered with noise-cancelling headphones and iPads loaded with a relaxing AMAX product presentation, and award-winning product launches including the Hadoop Cluster line, which has substantially increased brand exposure and generated impressive revenue gains.
More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.
