MINNEAPLOIS, MN — (Marketwired) — 06/18/13 — Next week at in Minneapolis, , the innovator and pioneer of public access gateways, will address how the hospitality industry can better monitor and control Internet access for guests and visitors to provide increased customer satisfaction. Located at booth #737, Nomadix will spotlight three products to assist in this effort: , (NITO) and (NWCG).
Hotels must be diligent about meeting the expectations of their guests and cannot afford to offer amenities that create headaches for their guests and staff, which is what often happens when Internet access networks become overloaded. Even smaller hotels struggle with how to sufficiently allocate bandwidth to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
“Smaller hotel properties have Internet management needs just as their larger counterparts do, but the market often neglects to provide solutions at a cost these smaller properties can afford,” said Nomadix Chief Commercial and Operating Officer Fred Reeder. “The AG 2400 is perfectly suited to address the needs of these smaller properties, while the NWCG is targeted to hotel lobbies and conference rooms, as well as restaurants — basically anywhere that has a need for a Wi-Fi hotspot. And NITO can function in properties large and small to stretch bandwidth as far as possible. We are delighted to showcase these products at HITEC to help hotels and restaurants gain a competitive edge.”
The AG 2400 is a next-generation Internet access gateway that provides mobile device support to properties with fewer than 100 rooms. Using new Intel technology, the AG 2400 has almost three times more throughput capacity than its processor and provides bandwidth management capabilities for smaller properties that result in secure, seamless Internet connectivity for guests.
The NITO is a powerful and cost-effective appliance designed to boost existing bandwidth. NITO offers insight for intelligent bandwidth management and allocation, enabling IT managers to access and review traffic patterns and content usage. For hospitality entities with loyalty programs, NITO can manage the bandwidth to support these programs or tiered affinity guest programs that offer high bandwidth to premium users.
The NWCG is an all-in-one Wi-Fi hotspot and Internet access gateway that provides secure Internet access for wireless users. It can be managed centrally through an SNMP management system. Ideally suited for hotel lobbies, conference rooms and restaurants, NWCG is more than just a hotspot — it-s also a gateway in a box that can be used as a standalone four LAN port authentication gateway to monitor and control Internet access. When accompanied by the VP 20 printer accessory, patrons can use NWCG in one of three ways: as a customer service courtesy (free), as a premium when a purchase is made from the venue, or as paid access.
To aid IT personnel in setting up the AG 2400, NITO and NWCG, among other products, Nomadix has created a series of support videos that detail the set-up process. These videos will be available soon on the Nomadix website. For more information on these products, including pricing, please contact Nomadix at +1.818.597.1500 or visit .
