The Eaton power distribution products will help support reliable operations and highly accurate metering of power in each one of the customer modular data center units within NextFort-s ultra-secure facility. The relies on Eaton medium-voltage load interrupter switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, meters and low voltage distribution transformers. Each NextFort data center customer has its own personalized power management solution complete with a power meter that can be monitored over the network and easily accessed via the customer-s portal.

Eaton-s power management solutions facilitate NextFort-s focus on reduced operating costs associated with its . NextFort-s Phase 1 launch in August will unveil 130,000 sq. ft. of . These are completely self-contained, all concrete and steel rooms designed to house up to 20 high-density IT racks for a total IT load of up to 225KW (up to 600 watts/sq. ft.). Future expansion calls for 50,000 square feet of modular data center space for additional HCSs that can be rapidly deployed.
