At the rollout of G.fast, slated for early 2014, the technology is expected to deliver 1Gbps data rates over a telephone line driving further consumer adoption of high-bandwidth video, audio and heavy-content applications.
At the DSL Seminar, Ikanos will also showcase an industry-first diagnostics and monitoring solution optimized for its Fusiv family of gateway processors, and designed to auto-monitor network integrity for an optimal customer experience, while reducing service providers- maintenance and service costs in delivering high-bandwidth consumer broadband connectivity.
