“Via our gateways in Europe, North America and the Middle East, we provide IP connectivity with access to the global Internet, as well as a worldwide extensive suite of customized end-to-end solutions and services such as Layer 2 VPLS and layer 3 VPN with complementary security services,” said Adi Katz, vice president, engineering, SkyVision. “We selected Juniper Networks because we required a proven, feature-rich and scalable platform to stand as the backbone of our network, together with carrier-class availability and automated network operations. The Juniper solution also gives us the flexibility and agility to respond to rapid growth and change while protecting our investment.”
SkyVision has built a robust network with powerful bandwidth capacity that is continually expanding to support a wide range of solutions, tailored to suit customer requirements. SkyVision-s international MPLS backbone connects its gateways to its teleports, and gives customers the option to connect via satellite and benefit from secure private network services anywhere in the world.
“Service providers need to provide anywhere-to-any-device connectivity to their customers quickly and securely, differentiating service to secure user loyalty,” said Mike Marcellin, vice president, product marketing and strategy, IPG, Juniper Networks. “SkyVision is building a new network infrastructure with Juniper to advance the economics of the network while delivering superior user experience.”
Juniper Networks M Series Multiservice Edge Routers employ a hardware-based approach built on a highly scalable, secure and reliable Junos® operating system, enabling multiple services on a single IP/MPLS platform. These features are designed to maximize revenue and minimize operational and capital costs for service providers by providing support for services such as network-based security, real-time voice and video, and bandwidth on demand. Juniper Networks EX4200 Ethernet Switches deliver a carrier-class architecture allowing users to grow incrementally by using a common version of Junos across its routers and switches whilst system monitoring and maintenance are consolidated under a suite of unified management tools.
