Incorporating Icron-s patented ExtremeUSB® extension technology and CEI-s mechanical cabling expertise, the new cable will be branded by Icron as the and by CEI as the BIT MAXX ExtremeUSB® 3.0. CEI will promote the new cable to their global distribution network of machine vision based resellers.

Commercially available in July, the new 15m active extension cable is a rugged and robust low cost USB 3.0 extension solution that provides a full 5V, 900mA of power and features a USB3 Vision compliant locking connector. An LED indicator is also incorporated into the cable at the device connection point.
