Multi-function boards support all variants of the ArcticLink III VX and BX families
Provides fast and easy prototyping and compatibility testing with common processor boards & displays
Accelerates VEE and DPO evaluation time
QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator of ultra-low-power programmable Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs), today announced the development of the Customer Use Board () System, which provides for easy evaluation and validation of ArcticLink® III VX and BX devices in customer platforms. CUB is an ideal solution for smartphone and tablet system architects who require easy prototyping and testing platforms to accelerate their design efforts.
The CUB system supports all silicon variants of the ArcticLink III and families, which include RGB or MIPI-DSI inputs, and RGB, MIPI-DSI, and/or LVDS outputs. The CUB system allows designers to easily insert known-good boards into their prototype systems. Once the CUB system is integrated into the display path, designers can evaluate the Visual Enhancement Engine-s (VEE-s) impact and measure the Display Power Optimizer-s (DPO-s) power savings.
The CUB system design enables the creation of quick-turn daughter cards for direct connection to processor boards or displays, Connections may also be made through -blue-wiring- to provided connector points. The boards feature a 100% open-design approach, providing developers with a proven starting point for production board design.
“The CUB system allows customers to evaluate QuickLogic-s VEE, DPO and display interface bridging technologies faster than ever before, minimizing the need for additional resources and speeding time-to-market for next generation products,” said Paul Karazuba, senior product marketing manager at QuickLogic.
The QuickLogic-s CUB is available today. For additional information, please go to
