REDWOOD CITY, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/29/13 — , a leading solutions company for broadband service providers, today announced that ASSIA CEO and Chairman Dr. John Cioffi will deliver a presentation, “Improved Customer Experience through Wi-Fi and DSL Management,” at the exhibition and conference on June 20, 2013, in Singapore. Dr. Cioffi also will participate in a panel discussion, “Challenges of Broadband Provisioning,” on June 18 at the conference. ASSIA is an exhibitor at CommunicAsia and plans to showcase its Smart Vectoring and Expresse Wi-Fi solutions in stand BL3-12, on level B2 of the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center.
In his presentation, “Improved Customer Experience through Wi-Fi and DSL Management,” Dr. Cioffi will share his unique perspectives on the developments in DSL technology, network diagnostics, and line optimization that are helping to improve the throughput of offloaded cellular networks. Wi-Fi offloading now constitutes the majority of wireless data traffic, and Wi-Fi backhaul is predominately through fixed-line copper. The quality of user experience of virtually all future data traffic critically depends on the management of both Wi-Fi and fixed-line copper networks.
