LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — (Marketwired) — 05/22/13 — A new and exciting online tool from etc.venues has arrived as they introduce the innovative Google Venue View.
Changing the way rooms are viewed and booked, prospective users will now be able to book a room knowing exactly what it looks like first, without ever having left their own office. Event bookers now have full access to a range of rooms as they pick their perfect venue.
The Venue View function works similarly to Google Street View and is available on the etc.venues website. It-s a tool that adopts an access all areas approach, providing users with the privilege of scrutinising potential space from the comfort of their desk.
The viewer not only has the scope to view the space, but they can also get a feel for how their potential event could work by viewing room sizes and layout. The details extend to window position, screen size and proximity to other key facilities such as restaurants and breakout spaces. It couldn-t be more thorough.
Paving and leading the way for many other is the first to introduce this facility with the other 12 venues soon to follow. It-s an exciting time for etc.venues and for conference venues in general.
Sian Jones, organizer of the annual Conference Awards commented;
“I love the way etc.venues are always creating ways of making life easier for event organisers. Time is precious and it is not possible to do endless site visits before choosing a venue.”
etc.venues was recently awarded a VenueVerdict Gold Standard brand award being named the best overall venue group, so this innovation has not gone unnoticed and continues their tradition of ground-breaking concepts and ideas.
Alastair Stewart, MD of commented:-
“Whilst we love to see clients on showrounds, expectations to tour virtually and then book on line are increasing every year. This new tool is simply outstanding for its ease of use and image quality.”
With such efficiency behind the planning and execution of their idea, it does seem inconceivable that booking rooms wasn-t always this user-friendly.
