“Since SIP is continually pursuing its growth strategy, we were looking for a sales representative for the Netherlands, who brings the appropriate experience to the job and provides new impetus to our growth plans. His long-standing industry experience in the market in the Netherlands made Kees Blok an ideal candidate for us,” said Heinz-Georg Klüver, Human Resources Manager at Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH.
Before Kees Blok came to SIP, he was employed by the hardware supplier Siegenia-Aubi KG where he served as an area sales manager and was responsible for a region in the Netherlands. In this position, he made an important contribution to the development of this sales area. His tasks included technical and commercial customer support.
Before that, Blok, who holds a degree in business administration, worked in the PVC processing industry, where he held diverse positions in different business areas.
In addition to developing the sales region, Blok will also provide support to systems engineering in the main production facility by helping customers in technical matters. He provides valuable expert knowledge in this area, because the requirements on the markets in Germany and the Netherlands differ greatly, in particular regarding standards and technical details.
“I am really looking forward to the new challenge and the tasks it involves. I see great potential for growth and success for SIP, despite the financial crisis that currently dominates the market in the Netherlands,” explains Kees Blok.
