The solution, on the Rackspace Private Cloud reference architecture site, delivers a validated architecture for customers that want to build an OpenStack Compute and Block Storage infrastructure capable of hosting mission critical applications.
Rackspace, the open cloud company, launched the Rackspace Private Cloud Software powered by OpenStack in August 2012, with thousands of organizations in over 160 countries spanning all continents downloading the product. After a detailed testing and validation process, SolidFire is the first cloud scale, QoS enabled, high performance storage system to have received this certification. This signifies that SolidFire has met specific integration and interoperability standards and works effectively with Rackspace Private Cloud Software.
