AARAU, SWITZERLAND — (Marketwired) — 04/16/13 — maker Picturepark® announced today post-audit results for its 2012 fiscal year. A revenue increase of more than 25% over 2011 earnings closed 2012 as the Swiss DAM vendor-s best year in its 12-year history.
“Picturepark gained much greater global attention throughout 2012,” said Picturepark CEO Ramon Forster. “As more people were introduced to the product through analysts, the press, customer referrals and our partners, more licenses were sold.”
The company added 10 new partners to it global partner network, extending its reach to new regions of Europe, the United States, Brazil, South Africa and Asia. In addition, Picturepark connectors for Dropbox, SharePoint, YouTube and WoodWing were released, offering customers packaged integration options for those systems.
Forster expects 2013 to be another good year for the company.
“Q1 of this year was very strong for us,” he said. “Interest in the product continues to rise and we-ll be announcing a number of new partners this year too. So far, 2013 is looking promising.”
In February of this year, the company released Picturepark 8.4, which introduced adaptive metadata schemas that enable customers to manage digital assets based on the lifecycle of the asset-s content, and better support multiple tenants in a single Picturepark instance.
