MASON, OH and CINCINNATI, OH — (Marketwired) — 04/15/13 — Cincinnati Children-s Hospital Medical Center is pleased to announce its agreement with ConnXus, a next generation procurement platform that provides major corporations, health systems, construction firms and government agencies with a fully-integrated supplier diversity technology solution.
Cincinnati Children-s has a goal to spend 7.5 percent of the medical center-s annual budget for purchased goods and services with minority- and women-owned (MWBE) businesses. ConnXus will provide services to support the Cincinnati Children-s Supplier Diversity efforts by expanding the medical center-s access and connections to small and diverse suppliers. ConnXus will also support Cincinnati Children-s spend tracking and reporting efforts by providing Tier 1 diversity spend verification services.
ConnXus recently announced a similar deal with Cooperative Services of Florida, a Regional Buying Cooperative whose members are Lee Memorial Health System, Central Florida Health Alliance, Huntsville Hospital and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.
