The CryptoFirewall is a dedicated hardware security core integrated directly into set-top box system-on-chip (SoC) devices to provide a secure hardware foundation preventing signal theft. In a multi-company collaboration, the CryptoFirewall security core technology, as demonstrated by Verimatrix, is embedded in the STMicroelectronics STiH207 family of devices with component and system integration support provided by (SMI).
