SCOTTSDALE, AZ — (Marketwired) — 04/04/13 — Parchment, the leader in eTranscript exchange with more than 7,400 member institutions, announced today it has achieved Gold Partner status in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN). Through access to additional partner resources, support and tools, the Gold Partner status enables Parchment to better serve its PeopleSoft client institutions and sets the stage for greater alignment of the company-s suite of solutions with Oracle in the future.
More than 40 postsecondary institutions using PeopleSoft are integrated to Parchment-s eTranscript solution, including Cornell University, University of Colorado, Kansas State University, North Carolina State University and University of Pittsburgh. Parchment earned the seal of approval by the P20W Electronic Standards Council (PESC), and is currently seeking to achieve Oracle Validated Integration (OVI) certification of its methodology.
“We consider reaching Oracle Gold Partner status valuable to our entire technology ecosystem, particularly since many of the institutions we work with rely on PeopleSoft as their primary integration platform,” said Louis Delzompo, CTO of Parchment. “Oracle only grants this status to partners with a proven track record and with whom they are highly confident, which underscores Parchment-s longstanding expertise and innovation in the education technology market.”
With a $6 million annual commitment to research and development, Parchment is continuing to advance its integration solutions already in place, not only with higher education institutions utilizing Ellucian, Campus Management, CampusVue, Jenzabar, PeopleSoft and a number of homegrown solutions. Parchment-s history of providing fully automated eTranscript solutions in higher education goes back to the founding of Avow Systems in 2006, which Parchment merged with its Docufide by Parchment platform in 2012.
Parchment is the leader in electronic transcript (eTranscript) exchange, allowing learners and institutions to collect, promote and share their education credentials in simple and secure ways. More than 7,400 active member high schools and postsecondary institutions and 8 statewide initiatives have exchanged more than 8 million transcripts using the Docufide by Parchment and Avow by Parchment SaaS platforms. Founded in 2003, Parchment Inc. is a venture-backed company headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, with offices in Roseville, CA, Denver, CO and Washington, DC.
