The CG5200 enables a fully self-installable home entertainment network for the distribution of Triple Play and IPTV over existing in-home powerline, coax and phone line wires. While complying with the latest G.hn standard, the CG5200 improves coverage and throughput over powerline even through surge protected power strips and multiples phases.
Consumers today face a mix of non-interoperable home networking technologies across the various wired media in the home. G.hn offers a single international standard for establishing high bandwidth communications across all existing wires. With Sigma-s CG5200, every power outlet, coaxial outlet and phone jack in the home becomes a network connectivity point on the same mesh network, providing consumers with convenience and flexibility. This enables traffic to be delivered seamlessly from one medium to another.
T&W-s P5200 series adapters feature a built-in power outlet design that replaces the wall outlets that are lost when the adapter is plugged in. This allows extra flexibility and convenience in deploying their ideal network to their existing environment. This also makes it an excellent solution for streaming high-definition videos, music and other streaming digital multimedia throughout a home network.
