LOUISVILLE, CO — (Marketwire) — 03/27/13 — Zayo Group today announced several zColo facilities have successfully completed the SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type I and the SSAE 16 SOC I Type II audits. These third-party audits represent that a service organization has completed an in-depth review of control objectives and control activities, resulting in certified facility reports based on security measures, environmental controls and overall customer service of the facilities.
As of January 2013, the following zColo facilities are now certified:
111 8th Ave. in New York City
7185 Pollock in Las Vegas
60 Hudson in New York City
209 10th Ave. in Nashville, Tenn.
165 Halsey in Newark, N.J.
These reports provide Zayo-s customers and data center partners with valuable information regarding Zayo-s data center controls. Additionally, the SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type I and SSAE 16 SOC I Type II audits differentiate Zayo from many of its peers by demonstrating effectively designed control objectives and activities. zColo plans to expand its certification portfolio and provide customers with access to the Service Auditor-s Report detailing the completion and accuracy of our security controls, environmental controls, and ticket management processes and procedures.
“With these certified facilities, zColo offers our customers the highest level of standards for compliance, security and reliability,” said Alda Licis, Vice President of Product Strategy for zColo. “The successful completion of these third-party audits demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with highly reliable services and operational transparency.”
