RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA — (Marketwire) — 03/19/13 — DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX: DD) (“DDS” or “the Company”) announced today that its Taxi business unit, Digital Dispatch Systems has signed a contract for its Pathfinder software with a new customer in the Greater Toronto Area and an upgrade contract, also for Pathfinder, with an existing customer in the Greater Vancouver Area. Both contracts include related hardware sales of the V9000.
In addition, the Company signed contracts for a further 200 subscriptions for TaxiBook to small taxi fleets in North America.
“We continue to place heavy emphasis on the small to medium fleets of North America as we believe this market is under served and presents a continued growth opportunity for DDS,” stated Vari Ghai, CEO of DDS. “These recent sales demonstrate that our suite of offerings present a broad range of solutions to this market segment; enterprise solutions, SaaS and hardware upgrades to our V9000,” continued Mr. Ghai.
Approximately $0.7 million will be recorded as revenue in fiscal 2013.
