Balingen, 6th July 2010 – Whether you are cutting into halves, quarters or individual slices: the BS 38 brings the bread flexibly and individually into the required shape. The BS 38 cuts the most diverse types of bread individually according to the customer wishes. Whether it is soft, hard, still warm or a particularly thick whole grain crust – the bread cutting machine cuts any long or round bread up to a diameter of 30 centimetres. It won’t fail even if there are whole nuts. A special clamping tool ensures minimal end pieces.
Particularly under pressure of time – if there are lots of customers in the shop – the round blade machine stands out due to its speed and precision. According to the speed setting around 60 and 100 slices can be cut per minute. Three save buttons allow you to change quickly between the three most used cutting thicknesses. Furthermore the customer can choose how thick they want to have their bread sliced, between three and 30 millimetres.
„The BS 38 works extremely hygienically without oil – and so counteracts the formation of mould and germ transfer onto the slicing area for the fresh bread“, says Andreas Gmelin, Director Food Processing Market bei Bizerba. This keeps the goods fresh for longer and makes it easier to clean the machine.
The clear menu layout makes it easy to use even for temporary workers. Additionally an enhanced safety mechanism means that the cutting machine can even be used in the self service sector.
