The demonstration incorporates Quanta-s implementation of the – Quanta LiveHD – VoLTE/IMS video client running on Quanta tablets and smartphones over CMCC-s TD-LTE network — an industry first.
The three companies were able to quickly incorporate the LiveHD client capabilities into a Quanta TD-LTE smartphone/tablet while offering device optimization through hardware acceleration. The resulting solution offers high quality HD 720p/30 video conferencing with low battery and CPU utilization and takes advantage of Radvision NetSense bandwidth estimation and adaptation technology, which ensures high quality on mobile Internet connections.
