SAN BRUNO, CA — (Marketwire) — 02/19/13 — Devicescape today announced the appointment of Arun Sarin to its Board of Directors. Sarin, former CEO of Vodafone Group Plc, also serves on the boards of Cisco Systems, Safeway, Inc. and Charles Schwab and is a trustee for the Blum Center for Developing Economies at the University of California, Berkeley. He brings over 30 years of telecommunications leadership experience to Devicescape.

Sarin formerly served as CEO of Vodafone from 2003-2008. Prior to that, he held chief executive positions with Accel-KKR Telecom, InfoSpace, Inc. and AirTouch International. In March 2010, Sarin received an honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. Sarin has an MS in engineering and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
