IXI-UMS is perfectly integrated into a BPOS-architecture: Processing, IN/OUT-routing, extended user-look up as well as permission check and user billing of the fax traffic are realized by serVonic’s BPOS Connect Service. The IXI-UMS on-site component that is connected to the local PBX and the BPOS Connect Service is installed at the BPOS customer on-site. Just like with locally installed fax servers, the user can send and receive faxes, integrated in his Microsoft Exchange online mailbox. Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Web Access is sufficient as client. With the IXI-UMS Client Tools, additional features such as mail merge fax and auto fax are available at the workstation. The PC, which is also provided for the BPOS directory synchronization tool, can be used as platform for the installation of the on-site component and the ISDN-board or IP-software, depending on the deployed PBX. serVonic’s BPOS Connect Service can be extended by the services Voice and SMS at any time.
“serVonic attaches importance to providing a suitable solution in the cloud business as well. The BPOS customer gets a fax server solution fully integrated into Exchange Online and can profit from advantages like low initial investment with full cost control,” Karin Abrell, Manager Marketing/PR at serVonic, says about the new service. ”For BPOS customers with Microsoft Exchange Online, we now offer the service fax in two variants: As purchased variant or as a service for a fee for use.”
