REDWOOD CITY, CA — (Marketwire) — 01/09/13 — Turn today announced that Max Ochoa has joined as the company-s general counsel and corporate secretary. He brings more than 14 years of experience to the company and will be responsible for Turn-s legal affairs around the world.

Ochoa joins Turn from Cox Reps, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, where he was general counsel and vice president of human resources. His responsibilities also included finance and order-to-cash operations at Cox Digital Solutions, a Cox Reps subsidiary. Prior to that role, he was general counsel and corporate secretary for Adify, which was sold to Cox Enterprises in 2008. Before he joined Adify, Ochoa served as general counsel and corporate secretary for Aliph and was TiVo-s associate general counsel, where he participated in and supervised all aspects of the legal department, including public company compliance, privacy, consumer affairs, intellectual property protection and enforcement, strategic commercial transactions and joint ventures in the U.S. and abroad.
Ochoa holds an S.B. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. Ochoa was admitted to the California Bar in 1998. He also serves as Chair of the Board of OneJustice, a California-wide social justice not-for-profit.
