He will join the Council-s leadership team with the mission to help grow the community of global senior IT leaders and advise the strategic direction of services.
Steve Finnerty is currently president of Finnerty Consulting which focuses on helping people and teams achieve their potential. He has been involved in the information systems profession for over 40 years and has held positions as the Senior Vice President for Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at premier global companies including Applied Materials, Dell, Kraft Foods and Johnson Controls. His teams have been consistently recognized with industry awards including CIO 100, Computerworld-s Premier 100 IT Leaders and Computerworld-s 100 Best Places to Work in IT.

Steve received his bachelor-s degree in Finance from Villanova University and his MBA from Lehigh University.
