The deployment commenced in June 2011 and has been expanding since, extending covering in Malabo, the country-s capital, and Bata, the largest city in Equatorial Guinea. The Guineanet network offers customers high-speed broadband communication for data and VoIP services as well as Wi-Fi hotspots for multi-device connectivity. Having deployed the Airspan-s Air4G, Guineanet will benefit from the product-s integration of LTE and WiMAX platforms, enabling the company to migrate the network infrastructure to LTE simply and affordably, with a software-only upgrade.
