Customers had the opportunity to profit from the reports of various OMNITRACKER users and to make new contacts. There were very interesting talks by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur), the Nuremberg Insurance Group (Nürnberger Versicherungsgruppe), the Malteser Aid Agency (Malteser Hilfsdienst gemeinnützige GmbH), BTC IT Services GmbH, IFM Electronic GmbH and Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH.
In addition, the participants were informed about the latest news and updates such as the release of OMNITRACKER version 10 and the current OMNITRACKER road map. There were over 130 participants from more than 60 companies and government organisations from Germany, Austria and Switzerland present. Mr. Kubisch from the Nordex Energy GmbH came to the following positive conclusion: “It was a very successful event with a wide range of different product implementation examples presented. I am already looking forward to meeting the guests at next year’s event. Special mention must go to the general quality of the catering and the numerous, very friendly OMNINET employees”.
Also, partner companies and prospects were present from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA. Mrs. Nasrin Azari (president of Mobile Reach) who travelled from North Carolina, USA said: “We are honoured to have participated in this event. The OMNITRACKER Customer Event was a successful, well organized event that enabled us to learn more about the OMNITRACKER product and meet many of OMNINET-s customers. We were very impressed by the high level of professionalism and the high-level quality of the material presented. Despite the language barrier with presentations in German there was ample opportunity for networking and speaking with OMNITRACKER users. Because of this we could gain a good understanding of the product, and what types of mobility requirements users have. The OMNINET team has been extraordinarily friendly and hospitable and has made our visit to Germany as pleasant as possible“.
The event was rounded off by a colourful evening event on Wednesday, September 19th 2012.
