The exclusive, one-day conference is designed to foster learning by bringing together industry thought leaders to share their knowledge and expertise on how the evolving virtualization and cloud computing landscape is transforming the IT.
The keynote speaker for VSX 2012 is , co-founder and CTO of Bromium, and former founder and CTO of XenSource. After Citrix acquired XenSource in 2007, Crosby served as CTO of the company-s Virtualization & Management Division until 2011. Previously, he was a Principal Engineer at Intel, where he led strategic research in distributed autonomic computing, platform security and trust. Earlier in his career, Crosby founded of CPlane Inc., a network optimization software vendor, and served as a tenured faculty member at the University of Cambridge, where he led research on network performance and control, and multimedia operating systems. Crosby has been awarded a coveted spot as one of InfoWorld-s Top 25 CTOs.
