Business leaders are using the economic downturn to strengthen their ability
to innovate
Moers, Germany – May 2009: In spite of the global credit crunch, the HANNOVER FAIR (HMI) 2009 proved to be a positive, dynamic, and forward-looking event. Around 210,000 visitors used the five days to find out about the latest technologies and solutions. CAD Schroer, the global engineering solutions provider, presented its latest developments for the manufacturing, plant design and factory layout sectors. The company offers its customers expert consultancy services, analysing existing systems and implementing individual solutions that cut project engineering costs while increasing design quality and competitiveness.
“We took time to talk to customers about their existing processes, data and systems. We then demonstrated how flexible solutions like MPDS4 FACTORY LAYOUT can work hand-in-hand with existing systems to further integrate project engineering processes, delivering a very quick return on investment,” says Detlev Kohley, Senior Account Manager at CAD Schroer.
For Managing Director Michael Schroer, the HMI was a big success : “Forward-thinking companies are making the best of the current climate by seizing this opportunity to invest, strengthening their ability to innovate, ready for the upturn. We sent a strong signal to HMI visitors that, as a longstanding and reliable engineering partner, we are here to help them optimise for continued success.”
