Unfortunately, many companies treat their job applicants poorly, providing confusing and lengthy application processes, leaving them in the dark about their status and not following up with future opportunities to apply. Hoping to solve this problem, the Candidate Experience Awards, or CandEs, enable any company to benchmark and improve the candidate experience it provides to job seekers. Following the very successful inaugural 2011 CandEs, presented at the HR Technology Conference last year, the 2012 CandEs have garnered much attention and tripled the number of participating companies.
During “The Second Annual Candidate Experience Awards – The CandEs,” Elaine Orler, president of Talent Function; Gerry Crispin, co-founder of CareerXroads; and Ed Newman, vice president of Strategy for iMomentous, will present the overall survey findings and announce the winners of Second Annual CandEs. Attendees of this session will hear how the winning companies provided their job applicants with a positive candidate experience and learn best practices that they can implement at their own organizations.
HR Technology Conference attendees are also invited to join the Candidate Experience Awards winners, sponsors, judges and VIPs at the on Monday, October 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at . Attendees must RSVP in advance to reserve their ticket to the celebration: .
The CandE Awards is an annual competition process whereby employers have the opportunity to benchmark their candidate experience against peers and participate in a third-party survey of their employment candidates. The CandE Award process is a competition, but it is also designed to provide every organization that chooses to participate with confidential and specific feedback on how they can improve their candidate experience.
