Oberhausen, Germany – April the 20th 2009
BigBlackBlock is a young Gamestudio established 2005 in Oberhausen/Germany by Marc André Ueberall. The company is developing games for Windows based PCs and XBOX 360 using the inhouse game engine Elder.Core.
Elder.Core is the foundation for all BigBlackBlock developments using the Microsoft XNA Framework. The modularity of the Elder Engine perfectly fits each and every genre by involving one of the different modules like Elder.AI, Elder.Physics or for example the latest Elder.Race which is an extension for the logics and physics of racing games. Today {hi}rollerz will be released.
{hi}rollerz is an action-packed strategy-racing game which does not only require the player to handle balancing acts at dizzy heights. The player has to beat the 50 levels by rolling his/her way through tricky trails, high-speed passages and … sometimes cheat on the unconventional gravity. The opponent: the time. Beside the classic career mode, which features numerous unlockable achievements, the „Free Ride“ offers an opportunity to do quick races above the clouds. For a long lasting fun factor the game is shipped with an integrated editor to exercise the players architectural skills. The custom maps can be uploaded and published onto the {hi}rollerz community site. By using a simple package-format, those maps can be easily downloaded and installed by other players to get played and rated. Likewise the community site features online-scoreboards to match the players.
Last but not least a feature that is as round as the ball – the price: 5.00 EUR (6.70 USD).
