Würselen, March 22, 2010. Global Navigation Systems – GNS GmbH, the leading supplier of GPS and TMC technology, and the distributor Arrow Asia will be sharing a common path from now on. Arrow Asia will provide sales and marketing activities to assist with the intensification of GNS-s market position in Asia. Beginning from now, Arrow Asia will be supplying the Asian-Pacific market with products from GNS.

At the core of the agreement is the new TC6000 range of combo modules. These integrate four wireless functions into a single module: Global Positioning System (GPS), Bluetooth (BT) and Traffic Message Channel receiver (TMC) or an FM transmitter. These features allow the new module to offer an almost endless range of possible applications. Dimensioned at just 10mm x 9.2mm x 2.3mm, the module is very easy to integrate. It also offers a significant cost advantage over existing hardware solutions. The TC6000 combo module is a compact all-in-one solution for manufacturers of all sorts of mobile applications, especially in the area of PNDs and mobile phones. The first samples of the TC6000 combo module and the development kit are available now.
