TAIPEI, TAIWAN — (Marketwire) — 08/14/12 — Hosted by the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEAIDB), and executed by Taiwan Computer Association, the “Digital Content Industry Diversity Development and Environment Improvement Promotion Plan” has promoted Taiwan in becoming the foremost country in innovative entertainment and multimedia application. Additionally, it has successfully assisted Taiwan-s digital content industries in expanding into international markets, and structured Taiwan as the model of success in global digital economic industrial development. In August, 2012, “Taiwan Pavilion,” organized by MOEAIDB, shall lead ten domestic gaming companies into Europe. These companies will be participating in the number one annual gaming extravaganza, the “Gamescom Convention, Germany,” showcasing for 5 days (8/15~8/19), and expecting the facilitation of enormous international business opportunities, such as joint development, co-productions, licensing, and authorizations.
The ten participants of Taiwan Pavilion shall be exhibiting and negotiating in Exhibition Hall 4.2 of the Commercial Area (Booth #H010), where a diversity of game products will be displayed, branching out into mobile games, web games, online games, and single player games, etc. Among which, eight participants have participated in this grand event for three consecutive years, including companies such as Xpec Entertainment Inc., Unalis Corp., Larger Network Technologies Inc., Wayi Int-l Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., Keystone Game Studio, Userjoy Technology Co., Ltd., Softstar Entertainment Inc., and Runewaker Entertainment, etc. Additionally, two new companies have joined in the festivities, including Interserv International Inc., and Zealot Digital International Corp.
This year Interserv and Zealot shall be participating for the first time. This year, Interserv premiered its debut, “GR Online,” which is a 3D online fantasy constructed using the Unreal Engine 3. Zealot will also be internationally launching their new products “Gulon Online” amd “FateHunter Online.” Additionally, Runewaker continues its international success of “Runes of Magic” with this year-s epic, “Dragon-s Prophet,” expected to be launched in Q4. Userjoy will launch “Tiny Avengers Online” and “Fantasy Saga,” also expected in Q4. Larger Network-s “Mystina” and Wayi-s “God of Destiny” will also present themselves at the 2012 Gamescom convention. This year, a diversity of games shall visually and audibly challenge global gamers. We hope to produce a beautiful score card for the gaming industries of Taiwan.
The European gaming market has become the biggest gaming market in the world, and Gamescom is the annual highlight for global gaming industries.
