LOS ANGELES, CA — (Marketwire) — 08/07/12 — Inktank, the only company to provide enterprise-level support for the Ceph open source distributed storage system, today announced three new hires to its growing management team: CTO James Duncan; VP, Professional Services, Russell Kojima; and VP, Marketing, Debbie Moynihan.
As CTO for Inktank, James Duncan will be responsible for ensuring that Inktank-s engineering and product management capabilities are as efficient and scalable as the Ceph technology. James will also play a key role in evangelizing Ceph with the market and community. Prior to joining Inktank this week, James Duncan most recently served as CTO, Worldwide Sales, at Joyent, a cloud computing software and services company. At Joyent, Duncan was instrumental in driving the company-s product evolution and global expansion. Duncan is also currently a Mentor at the FounderFuel startup accelerator program.

Inktank also announces that it has hired Russell Kojima as VP, Professional Services. Most recently Kojima was COO at cloud computing company ForceBrain.com. Previously, Kojima acquired his broad professional services and open source expertise through his senior positions at Kaltura, hiSoft Technology, IBM and SugarCRM.
In addition, Inktank has hired Debbie Moynihan as VP, Marketing. Prior to joining Inktank, Moynihan served as VP of Marketing and Community at FuseSource, an open-source integration and messaging company that was recently acquired by Red Hat. Her previous experience includes positions at IONA Technologies and IBM.
