SEATTLE, WA — (Marketwire) — 07/02/12 — Daptiv, the on-demand leader in project portfolio management (PPM) software, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Leaders” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based Project and Portfolio Management Services,”(1) a new research report covering PPM Software-as-a-Service applications.
The Magic Quadrant evaluated 13 vendors across a broad range of criteria; Gartner evaluated Daptiv-s ability to execute and completeness of vision which resulted in its being named a Leader.

Product depth in several core PPM areas — such as demand management and analysis, advanced scheduling, and resource and cost management — sets Leaders apart from competitors. Some of the providers can support portfolio analysis (for investment prioritization). Some Leaders are increasingly offering a measure of program (versus project) management support in their products.”
