In the fiscal year 2011/12 (31 March), Jetter AG in Ludwigsburg (ISIN: DE0006264005) has recorded the highest turnover in its history, at Euro 44 Mio, a 31% increase over the previous year (Euro 33.6 Mio). EBIT at Euro 0.43 Mio was markedly higher than in the previous year (Euro 0.13 Mio). The net profit was KEUR 151 (previous year: loss of KEUR 114).
Strongly varying quarterly sales, implying preproduction in the respective preceding quarters, led to extremely volatile quarterly results. Although the yearly EBIT of KEUR 432 nearly quadrupled over the previous year, it is low with respect to the record sales. The still very high development costs in the young mobile automation sector compromised the result. Moreover, part of the sales increase was borne by lower-margin merchandise, pushing up the material ratio. These effects should peter out over the next quarters. Order intake in fiscal 2011/12 was Euro 44 Mio, 19% more than in the previous year (Euro 37 Mio).
Management expects a stabilisation on a high level, with a decidedly positive result. Sales volume is expected to surpass Euro 40 Mio, EBIT Euro 1 Mio. For the years until 2014/15, management expects yearly sales increases of ca. 10% and a corresponding profit development, driven mainly by the mobile automation segment.
The business report will be published on 28 June 2012 and will then be available on the websites of Jetter and Deutsche Börse.
