itelligence AG data center in Malaysia contributes successfully to worldwide audit
Bielefeld, March 3, 2009 – itelligence AG has been recertified by SAP AG as an SAP global hosting partner. itelligence has received this recertification from SAP of its ability to deliver high-quality hosting services in support of SAP solutions. Across the world, itelligence’s data centers in Bautzen (Germany), Cincinnati (USA) and for the first time the new data center in Cyberjaya, near Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), were audited on a representative basis, which led to the recertification.
itelligence AG has been an SAP global hosting partner since 2004. In addition to providing an excellent standard of technology and service, proof of data centers in the key economic regions of the world (America, Europe and Asia) must be provided in order to achieve this certification. The certification of itelligence as an SAP global hosting partner will be in effect for another two years through the end of 2010.
The focal points of the audit carried out by SAP at the three selected data centers were as follows: the delivery of comprehensive service offerings, the technical infrastructure, network connections and security, IT service management, the quality of application hosting of SAP solutions, and project management.
Oliver Schreiber, Director of the Outsourcing & Services business unit at itelligence AG adds: “As a certified SAP global hosting partner, we can provide our clients with verification of our ability to deliver high–quality hosting services in support of SAP solutions. This distinction also underlines our international professionalism and abilities in hosting SAP solution-based systems and international outsourcing services.”
The successful audit of the data center in Malaysia that was only opened in September 2008 shows that itelligence has also implemented its existing high level of quality in terms of infrastructure and deployed processes in Asia. itelligence is one of only a few providers able to offer genuine dual datacenter concepts in the Asian region from Malaysia.
Among other things, the new data center in Malaysia offers customers the option of having their Asian systems managed professionally from Germany, thereby combining on-site support in the local language and time zone with high-quality system management from Germany in a three-shift operation.
