PALO ALTO, CA — (Marketwire) — 04/20/12 — HP (NYSE: HPQ) today announced that the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has selected HP Enterprise Services as the prime contractor for a program that will provide analytics to enable the assessment of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise networks and connected IT systems against DoD standards, as well as any known system vulnerabilities.
The contract, awarded under DISA-s Encore II contract vehicle, is valued at up to approximately $39.8 million over seven years. The work performed will help enhance the DoD-s ability to detect IT system vulnerabilities, ensuring improved and efficient security.
Under the terms of the contract, the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) will be available for implementation across the DoD as the enterprise-wide compliance solution.
