Northfield (Minnesota, US) January 20, 2009 – All Flex Acquisitions LLC (d/b/a All Flex) a flexible circuit and flexible heater manufacturer, reports a successful 2008 despite an unstable U.S. economy. The company not only achieved plan but actually increased domestic sales by nearly 10% and captured a record number of new customers with a 40% increase over -07.
Sales Manager, Dave Becker, attributes the success to a combination of improved operational performance, the addition of flexible heater circuits to their product line, and aggressive marketing both domestically and in Europe where a new marketing venture was launched. A loyal base of existing customers has also been crucial. Becker says over the years All Flex established a large customer foundation within various industries which provides elasticity to absorb some economic fluctuations. “We are fortunate the nature of our business is diversified among several markets segments including military, medical, aerospace, and instrumentation. In fact, no single customer makes up more than 7% of our revenue. Growth within our base of existing customers has occurred annually and we expect this trend to continue in 2009,” says Becker.
In spite of the recession Becker says All Flex is ready for the challenges that lie ahead, “2008 was very strong, and despite the sluggish economy, we are cautiously optimistic about continuing the pattern of year by year revenue growth established over the past 7 years. All Flex is positioned well to make progress against the headwinds. Last year we added more capital equipment to support additional SMT assembly and targeted the flexible heater circuit market to help sustain us through a difficult economic environment.” Also during 2008 All Flex began to penetrate the European market with favorable results.
